Lisa Johnston | email@example.com | Twitter: @aeternusphoto Mary Ann Huber distributes the Eucharist every Wednesday and Sunday to those who wish to receive the sacrament at her assisted living center. She held a communion service with some of the residents. Mary Ann Huber began her mission to serve the elderly in 1981 and with the help of her husband William, she began Twin Oaks Estate with her first 12 elderly residents. Located on seven wooded acres in O'Fallon, the site now has room for 149 residents. Huber can be found doing whatever needs to be done at the center where her mission is to serve the residents physically, mentally and spiritually.
