Sisters of St. Joseph and staff members of the Millennium Hotel gathered July 12 to witness as the Downtown hotel signed a Code of Conduct for the Protection of Children from Sexual Expolitation in Travel and Tourism. The code was developed by an international non-government organization called End Child Prostitution, Child Pornography and Trafficking Children for Sexual Purposes (ECPAT), and calls on the tourism industry to establish an ethical policy regarding commercial exploitation of children, among other points.
