He and his girlfriend Sherae live in the neighborhood and came out for another night of protesting in the streets of Ferguson where Michael Brown was shot and killed Saturday, Aug. 9. Protest continued on the fifth night after the fatal incident in the Ferguson neighborhoods surrounding the apartment complex where the shooting occurred. The tone of protest changed significantly since the police safety presence was taken over by MO. State Police as requested by Gov. Jay Nixon. Local protesters were encouraged by the leadership of Missouri Highway Patrol Capt. Ron Johnson who has ties to the Ferguson area.
