Volunteer Betty Howard,worked at City Greens Produce, a Catholic Charities farmers market at Catholic Charities Midtown Center, 1202 S. Boyle Ave. in South St. Louis. The market, which offers the wares of 30 Missouri farmers, was developed to help families have access to fresh produce. City Greens Produce at Midtown is open Thursdays and Fridays from noon to 6 p.m. and on the first Saturday from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Another City Greens Produce is open at Catholic Charities' Father Tolton Center, 1018 Baden Ave. on the Northside, every Friday and the second Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon. Howard said zucchini is her favorite, and she loves to make it into a quiche.
