Protest and riots have been occurring in the Ferguson neighborhoods and included the looting of many area businesses and the fire of a QT gas station and convenience market. Parishioners from Blessed Teresa of Calcutta came together in a prayer vigil for peace in the church's grotto with their pastor, Father Robert Rosebrough. Nancy Weaver has been a parishioner at Blessed Teresa of Calcutta for over 40 years and is a member of the prayer group at the parish. She lifted her hands in prayer during the singing of God Bless America which was sung after the rosary had been prayed.
